Beyond the Groove Productions is thrilled to be producing Jamestown Revival for their third appearance at Club Red bringing their self-described "back-porch folk-rock" to Mountain Village with special guests Mipso and Robert Ellis.
Jamestown Revival have made the quietest record of their career with Young Man, yet it may resonate the most. Recorded in their home state of Texas, it is their first project without electric guitars, with the emphasis instead on skillful songwriting, flawless harmony, and intricate fingerpicking. In addition, it’s the first time that bandmates Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance have created an album with a producer -- in this case, Robert Ellis, a fellow Texan and a recording artist in his own right.
We here at Beyond the Grove have been watching Robert Ellis’ career for a decade!. We finally had the honor of producing him in July 2019 for our Music on the Green series, which is a free music series every Friday night all summer long in the Mountain Village.
Jamestown Revival is set to play Friday, January 28, at Telluride's Club Red. Jamestown Revival is a group formed by Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance who left their life in Magnolia, Texas and hit the road to conceive a style uniquely their own. Since then Jamestown Revival has brought its signature sound across America and playing to sold-out crowds at Coachella, Austin City Limits, Bottlerock Festival, Bonnaroo and more.
Tickets for this show are priced at $30-$45 and can be purchased online at clubredtelluride.com. The doors will open at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m.
